Kondisi ini sekaligus memberikan kesempatan bagi mahasiswa untuk kembali merasakan kegiatan ekskursi. Pada kesempatan kali ini, Prodi Meteorologi ITB melaksanakan kegiatan ekskursi ke salah satu stasiun meteorologi milik BMKG yakni Stasiun Meteorologi Kelas I Soekarno-Hatta. Semangat dan antusiasme terpancar dari mahasiswa meteorologi ITB angkatan 2019, 2020, dan 2021 pada Kamis (27\/10\/2022) pagi hari. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk membekali mahasiswa dalam mendapatkan pemahaman mengenai penerapan keilmuan meteorologi, utamanya dalam bidang penerbangan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Banyak kegiatan dan ilmu baru yang diperoleh oleh mahasiswa, misalnya&nbsp; pengenalan sistem kerja di Stasiun Meteorologi Kelas I Soekarno-Hatta, pengenalan alat-alat meteorologi dan proses kerjanya di Taman Alat, pengenalan sistem prediksi cuaca guna keselamatan penerbangan, serta praktik penerbangan pilot balon. Mereka berharap ilmu yang diberikan melalui kegiatan ini dapat bermanfaat untuk diterapkan di dunia perkuliahan serta dapat menjadi kegiatan rutin. Sesi foto bersama di depan gedung operasional Stasiun Meteorologi Kelas I Soekarno-Hatta menjadi penutup kegiatan ekskursi kali ini.
